Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital, clinic, and physician billing. This role supports revenue cycle improvement and regulatory compliance.

You will validate APC calculations, abstract data, and maintain confidentiality while staying current with coding guidelines. Requires AHIMA or AAPC credentials and at least two years of coding experience.

Qualifications

• AHIMA credential (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCA) or AAPC credential (COC/CCS-P/CPC) required or active
• Associates degree in HIM or healthcare-related field preferred
• Minimum two years of hands-on coding experience required
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding sets and medical terminology

Responsabilités

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for specified patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC assignments reflect diagnoses/procedures.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures for billing.
• Serve as a data integrity resource for clients and Savista staff.
• Maintain patient/provider confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client and Savista meetings and trainings.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and government regulations.
• Engage in continuing education to keep credentials current.
