Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes to optimize hospital and physician billing processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and close collaboration with client staff.

The candidate should have an AHIMA or AAPC credential and at least two years of coding experience, with strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and medical terminology. Familiarity with Rcx, Cerner, or NextGen is a plus, and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Two years of hands-on coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS; medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
• Must code at 95% quality threshold.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Select and sequence ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC/E&M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with client staff and Savista teams as needed.
• Stay current on coding guidelines and regulations.
