Savista is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital, clinic, and physician settings. You will verify APC calculations and ensure accurate abstracting of data to meet regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will have AHIMA or AAPC credentials and at least two years of hands-on coding experience, with strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding sets.
• Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and E/M codes.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures, and disposition.
• Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client and Savista meetings and trainings.
