Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Melbourne Wound Care Center part-time. Under RN direction, you will provide wound care, support intake/discharge, and assist case management as needed in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements include a completed LPN/LVN program, current license, BLS, and at least two years nursing experience with wound care preferred. Training in vein clinics and hyperbaric care may be provided.

Qualifications

Demonstrated BLS competency and strong organizational skills.
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a valid LPN/LVN license.
Minimum two years as LPN/LVN, with wound care exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Under RN/Provider direction, provide wound care per policies and guidelines.
Assist in vein clinic after required training.
Assist with intake and discharge; support case management under RN.
Gather patient information and prepare necessary equipment.
Report quality issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager; communicate with team.
Perform hyperbaric-related duties after training; may act as scribe when needed.
