Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients and to assist radiologists during specialized exams. The role requires careful patient communication, image acquisition, and collaboration with the radiology team.

The position operates in an outpatient setting with exposure to imaging equipment and routine PPE. ARDMS RVT/ARRT VS preferred; CPR/BLS certification required; prior sonography program graduation is expected.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver and team player.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Able to consistently exceed company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patient to obtain history and explain procedures.
• Review charts for missing information and implants or allergies.
• Perform ultrasound scans, print images, and monitor patient during/after exam.
• Assist Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report issues.
• Coordinate with Lead Technologist and Center Manager on department concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
