Job summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures for adults and children, assisting radiologists during specialized exams to obtain optimal images. The role requires coordinating with radiologists on scan protocols and maintaining equipment while ensuring patient safety.

The position is as-needed with a pay range of $40.75–$52.54 per hour, and includes compliance and quality standards in a clinical outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited sonography program required or preferred.
• Licensure and registrations preferred (RVT or OB/GYN/Vascular).
• CPR/BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients.
• Assist radiologists during specialized exams to obtain diagnostic images.
• Interface with patients to obtain medical history and explain procedures.
• Review charts for consent and implants and monitor patient condition.
• Transfer images and coordinate scan protocols with radiologists.
• Maintain equipment and report any quality concerns or failures.
• Adhere to safety and compliance policies and participate in training.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Sonography program

ARDMS RVT or ARRT VS/VS registry preferred

ARDMS OB/GYN or ARRT S registry preferred

State medical board license (if applicable)

CPR/BLS certification
