Job summary

Envision Radiology, LLC seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients, supporting radiologists during exams and ensuring high-quality images.

This as-needed role requires strong patient education, attention to detail and the ability to work Fridays and Saturdays as scheduled; compensation ranges from $40.75 to $52.54 per hour, with imaging transfers and safety protocols emphasized.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent; screens patients for implants, allergies.
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images while attending to patient care before, during and after exam.
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment and reports quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
