Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to support adult and pediatric ultrasound procedures. You will assist radiologists during specialized exams to obtain high-quality images, transfer studies, and coordinate protocols with the Radiology team.

The role requires ultrasound experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting. No travel is indicated; position is on-site in the regional imaging center.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver and team player.
• Navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Excel in a fast-paced, team environment; exceed expectations.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis or treatment.
• Assist radiologists during specialized exams to obtain quality images.
• Print images and coordinate with care teams before, during, and after exams.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed and coordinate protocols with radiologists.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, report any quality concerns or failures.
• Interface with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager on departmental matters.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
