Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients, assisting radiologists and ensuring high-quality imaging with minimal supervision. The role requires coordinating with radiologists, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient care across varied shifts.

Ideal candidates have two+ years of ultrasound experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to educate patients about procedures.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ ultrasound experience preferred
• Able to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver and team player
• Navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Excel in a fast-paced, team environment
• Consistently exceed company and customer expectations
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions to obtain the best image
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and consent; screens for implants and allergies
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images, monitors patient care before, during and after exam
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams
• Transfers images to other locations as needed
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports quality concerns or failures
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager on departmental concerns
• Other duties as assigned
