Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patients. You will assist radiologists during exams, ensure high-quality images, and coordinate with the radiology team to optimize protocols.

The role requires two+ years of ultrasound experience, ability to educate patients, and a detail-oriented, team-focused mindset. This is an as-needed, on-site position with potential exposure to clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, team player.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to exceed company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to obtain medical history and explain the procedure to get best image.
• Reviews charts for missed information and implants, checks allergies, etc.
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images, maintains patient care before/during/after exam.
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment, reports issues promptly.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager on concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
