Akumin Tampa is hiring a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams at our Tampa facility. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images, and adhere to HIPAA and site policies.

This role requires ARRT or ARDMS certification, CPR/BLS, 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed. The position offers per-diem scheduling and opportunities to work across multiple Akumin locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS where applicable.
• 1–2 years ultrasound experience; able to work at multiple locations.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for physician interpretation.
• Identify normal and abnormal findings and communicate results to clinicians.
• Maintain equipment sterility and patient safety in accordance with policies.
• Schedule and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Provide coverage for absences and vacations as a per-diem technologist.
