Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist for our South Florida facilities. This role performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, maintains image quality, and communicates results to physicians.

The position requires flexibility to cover shifts at multiple sites and travel as needed, with a focus on patient-centered care. The ideal candidate holds ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum ARRT(S) or ARDMS certification.
• 1–2 years ultrasound experience listed.
• Ability to travel between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain high-quality diagnostic images and document findings.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control practices.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff for interpretation.
