Job summary
Creative Solutions In HealthCare seeks a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas to join our in-house rehab team, delivering person-centered care for residents. The role focuses on swallowing and cognitive assessments, AAC implementation, and collaborative care planning.
The SLP will provide education to residents and caregivers, maintain accurate records, and comply with professional standards. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current ASHA Certification.
- In good standing with regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve cognition or swallowing.
- Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive/language disorders.
- Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered.
- Educate residents, caregivers, and other professionals as needed.
- Document billing records and clinical notes accurately and timely.
- Communicate changes in residents' condition to care team.
