Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our in-house rehab team serving residents with person-centered care. You will evaluate swallowing and cognitive function, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate families and staff to improve outcomes.

Texas-licensed SLP with ASHA certification is required. This role offers flexible schedules and an in-house rehab environment, welcoming new grads to apply for PRN coverage.

Qualifications

Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current ASHA Certification.
In good standing with regulatory agencies and boards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
Help residents improve cognition or swallowing.
Provide skilled, medically necessary speech therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
Implement AAC systems for severe communication disorders.
Educate residents, caregivers, and other professionals.
Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
Document billing records and clinical documentation.
Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with laws.
