Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team. The SLP will service residents in a long-term care setting, delivering medically necessary assessments and individualized treatment plans.

The role requires Texas licensure and ASHA certification, with flexible per diem hours and on-site work in Texas. New grads welcome to apply and competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Help residents improve cognition or swallowing.
• Educate residents and caregivers.
• Provide speech therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Develop AAC systems for communication needs.
• Provide training to clients and families as needed.
• Coordinate with professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
• Demonstrate current Speech Therapy practices and standards.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition and document promptly.
