Job summary
Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team serving residents with person-centered care to improve cognition and swallowing. The ideal candidate holds an active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and a current ASHA certification, with experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.
Flexible schedules and competitive compensation are offered; we value training and collaboration with caregivers, nursing, and therapy
Qualifications
- Texas license active in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certification
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
- Provide AAC systems for individuals with expressive/language disorders.
- Educate residents, caregivers and staff as subject matter expert.
- Coordinate with physician-ordered diagnostic swallowing procedures.
