Job summary

Mercy Health – The Jewish Hospital in Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner I (PRN). You will provide respiratory care, assess patient response, and educate patients and staff, contributing to high-quality care.

Responsibilities include oxygen/ aerosol therapy, ventilator care, postural drainage, and assisting with bronchoscopy. Requires NBRC credentialed, current state license, BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. EPIC EHR experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to respiratory therapy or healthcare preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment required.
• NBRC credentialed required; RRT preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen and aerosol therapy, ventilator care and education.
• Assess patient status, document data, and adjust therapies per physician orders.
• Support precepting and staff education; participate in resuscitations as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and tracheostomy as directed.
