Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a PRN Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Anderson Hospital in Ohio. You will provide comprehensive respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, patient assessment, and education, while maintaining equipment and documentation.

The role requires NBRC credentialing, state licensure, and at least two years of experience. Responsibilities include acting as shift Charge Therapist when needed, performing airway management, and collaborating with physicians and staff to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice required.
• NBRC credentialed required; RRT preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS required; NRP preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional required.
• EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention and education.
• May act as shift Charge Therapist to ensure staffing coverage.
• Perform procedures including ventilator care and airway management.
• Administer therapies (IPPB, aerosol therapy, oxygen, chest physiotherapy).
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and use of equipment.
• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and documentation.
