Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to respiratory therapy or healthcare preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment.
• NBRC credentialed and certification requirements as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen and aerosolized meds, ventilator care and education.
• Assess patient condition, plan and adjust therapies based on response.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Instruct patients and families on therapy devices and home care when applicable.
• Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and airway management as directed.
• Participate in staff training, preceptorship, and chart reviews.
