Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing quality of life in line with patient goals.

Schedule typically 8–16 hours per month with potential additional weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage. Compensation range is $62–$68 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligibility with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining services and nutrition
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs
