Job summary
Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. You will assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and support residents to improve quality of life in coordination with the health care team.
Typical schedule is 8-16 hours per month with potential extra weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage; onsite work only. This role emphasizes adherence to nutrition standards and ongoing education for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian.
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Licensed or certified per state requirements.
- Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
- Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
- Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
- Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
