Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for our healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life aligned with patient goals.

The position is typically scheduled 8–16 hours per month with potential for additional weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage. Eligibility includes licensure and ongoing education per CDR standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with licensure or certification per state requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field (prior to 2024).
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passes national exam by CDR or meets eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility rules.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up nutrition-related procedures and policies.
• Assist in quality improvement programs related to dining services and nutrition.
