Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for our healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and support residents’ quality of life with a patient-centered approach.

The role is on-site, part-time, with hours typically 8–16 per month and potential additional coverage. Prior dietitian experience and formal nutrition degrees are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination (CDR) or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours CE every 5 years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Support quality improvement programs.
