Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Cortland Manor, NY. This onsite, part-time role supports the healthcare team by assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and promoting patient wellbeing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (pre-2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
