Zusammenfassung

Cura Hospitality is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare & food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help improve quality of life aligned with patient goals. This position typically schedules 8–16 hours per week.

You will collaborate with the health care team, follow published standards, and support dining service and nutrition policies. A strong nutrition background is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed CDR national exam or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing and improving quality improvement programs.
