Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for a part-time, onsite role at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions to support patients/residents, and improve quality of life aligned with goals.

The role is typically scheduled 8-16 hours per week with opportunities to contribute to a healthcare and food-service team, following Academy standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition is required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition is required.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements is required.
• Passing the national examination (CDR) or meets requirements for eligibility is required.
• 75 hours of continuing education every five years is required.
• Regulatory compliance and residents’ rights knowledge is required.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team.
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement programs.
