Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life for patients/residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Master’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passes CDR national exam or eligibility per the academy.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve or maintain nutritional status.
• Educate patients, staff, and consultants on nutrition.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs.
