Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Cortland Manor, NY. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life for patients/residents. Schedule typically 8–16 hours per month with potential for more coverage.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy standards.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to develop procedures for dining services and nutrition.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs.
