Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. You will assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and support residents to maintain optimal status.

The position typically schedules 8–16 hours per month, with possible additional weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage. Join a team committed to standards of practice, care planning, and nutrition education.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination administered by the CDR or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, using the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

Formation

Master's degree in Nutrition or related field

Licensed or certified, per state requirements

Passed national exam by CDR or eligibility

Completes 75 hours CE every five years
