Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY, with onsite responsibilities. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and supporting residents to optimize their health outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible per ADNutrition requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team.
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants on nutrition.
• Interact with departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of QA programs.
