Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team at Cortland Manor, NY. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and enhancing quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Schedule typically 8–16 hours per month with potential for more weekday, weekend, or vacation coverage. Requires RD qualifications and state licensure; hospital setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (completed before 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to set up procedures for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and reviewing quality improvement programs.
