Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position to support residents' mobility and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will administer prescribed treatments, document accurately, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Prior SNF or long-term care experience is preferred. Texas PTA license is required; Net Health documentation experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas PTA license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Under PT supervision, implement plans of care.
• Good communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PTA services under PT supervision.
• Record motor function, strength, and progress in documentation.
• Coordinate with the rehab team and attend meetings.
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation per policies.
