Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - South seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for PRN coverage in our skilled nursing setting in Texas. You will administer prescribed therapies, support a PT, and help residents improve mobility and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas PTA license, have SNF or long-term care exposure, and are familiar with Net Health documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this interdisciplinary team-based facility.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health documentation preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current knowledge of PT treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to improve function.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay requests to the PT and coordinate referrals.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength.
• Monitor responses and adjust interventions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers.
• Ensure timely, compliant documentation.
• Attend required rehab meetings.
