Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Texas. You will provide person-centered care under PT supervision to improve residents’ mobility and quality of life.

Applicants must hold a Texas PTA license and be in good standing. SNF experience is preferred, with familiarity in Net Health documentation. Flexible Full-Time role with competitive benefits and supportive colleagues.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• In good standing with licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and modify approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely per policies and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
