Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one PT services in patients’ homes on a PRN basis. You will support mobility, strength, and balance while coordinating with a supervising PT and documenting visits for continuity of care.

This role offers a flexible, self-managed schedule with independence in the field and meaningful patient-focused care, backed by consistent patient visits and reliable opportunities for additional income.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
