Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare seeks a dedicated PTA to provide one-on-one physical therapy support in patients' homes. The role emphasizes helping patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life on a PRN schedule.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, assist with exercises, monitor progress, and educate families on home programs, safety, and adherence to plans of care. A flexible, community-based position offers meaningful patient care with reliable patient volume.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
