Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one therapy in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will guide exercises to improve strength, mobility and balance, monitor progress, and educate families on home exercise programs for safety and independence.

This flexible, field-based role offers an independent work environment, meaningful patient care, and a steady flow of visits to support work-life balance and supplementary income.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
