Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory Department. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and handle clerical duties to support efficient operations.

Responsibilities include order entry, result lookup, report generation, and answering calls in a friendly, helpful manner. High school or GED required; phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required. Travel to off-site locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy certificate preferred but not required.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred but not required; customer service in a retail or service setting is a plus.
• Must be able to travel to off-site locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for testing.
• Enter orders, look up results and generate reports in a timely manner.
• Answer internal/external calls and perform clerical duties to keep the lab efficient.
