Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab services in a Skilled Nursing Facility, following physician referrals and Life Care standards. You will support long- and short-term rehabilitation, working within an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful functional progress.

New grads welcome; NBCOT certification and state licensure required, CPR at hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional
Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
Currently registered/licensed in applicable state and maintain active license
One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
CPR certification upon hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs
Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Follow company policies including harassment and compliance training
