Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I for High Point Medical Center in High Point, NC. This PRN, as-needed position supports MRI exams, ensuring safety and quality.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, administer IV contrast as directed, and collaborate with Radiologists and nursing staff. ARRT MRI registry eligibility and BLS are required.

The role emphasizes radiation safety, accurate documentation, and preparedness for emergencies; prior ARRT registry within 1 year is expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Active enrollment in an MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer to Radiologist before exam.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review patient history and EMR to obtain pertinent clinical data.
• Perform MRI scans and assist with invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain MRI safety and document contrast administrations.
