Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility or ARMRIT program required; registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; verify orders with radiologist where needed.
• Prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and document in EMR.
• Perform IV contrast administration per protocol and record details.
• Ensure radiation safety and maintain equipment and patient records.
• Assist physicians during MRI procedures and support during emergencies.
