Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Verify orders and contact Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Explain procedures to patients and prep.
• Obtain complete patient history and document in EMR.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast according to protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
• Assist physicians during invasive MRI-related procedures.
