Job summary

Atrium Health' High Point Medical Center is seeking a Radiology MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams with safety and accuracy. You will verify orders, prepare patients, obtain consent, administer contrast when needed, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure high-quality images.

Eligible candidates are ARRT MRI registry-eligible or ARMRIT program participants, must graduate from an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program, and hold BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and confirm with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and provide procedure explanations.
• Review medical history and prior results in EMR to support exams.
• Perform exams from start to finish and document dictated results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast as per protocol.
