Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join Florida facilities. You will perform MRI procedures, prepare and administer contrast, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while following policy.

Flexibility to cover shifts and travel to multiple locations is required. The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license where applicable, CPR/BLS, and 3+ years of experience, along with strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required/allowable by contract.
• State license where applicable.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS as applicable.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross-sectional MRI images for diagnosis.
• Prepare, administer, and document contrast administration.
• Follow imaging protocols and maintain quality images.
• Train and orient new staff as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Interact with staff and patients.
