Colorado In Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Northern Colorado offices. You will be the first voice patients hear, welcoming them and guiding them through check-in, scheduling, and payments.

This fast-paced role requires professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task across EMR, scheduling systems, and phone support. PRN 20-40 hours weekly with shifts roughly 7am–6pm.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience at a medical front desk or healthcare reception is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, scheduling systems, EMR, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Professionalism in discussing payments and scheduling with patients.

Aufgaben

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments accurately; track or reconcile when needed.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
