Job summary

Together Women’s Health is seeking a PRN Saturday Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Receptionist to warmly greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and collect payments. This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and experience with EHR systems.

The position is based in Westminster, CO with occasional travel to Cherry Creek, Lakewood, and Highlands Ranch. Prior radiology/athena experience is preferred; associate degree or medical assistant cert is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of medical office or healthcare experience.
• Prior radiology imaging center experience preferred.
• Athena One experience strongly preferred.
• Previous patient care experience required.
• Proficiency with EHR systems (Athena, Epic, MyChart or similar) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Associate’s degree (preferred) or certification from an accredited Medical Assistant or healthcare-related program.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using the EHR system.
• Accurately collect, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure patients are scheduled appropriately within network guidelines.
• Collect co-pay and insurance information per billing policies.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries and scheduling.
• Prepare patient charts and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
