Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support primary care teams. The role combines front desk duties with clinical responsibilities, ensuring patient care is delivered efficiently and with a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and assist with procedures.
• Collect and review patient information for care plans with providers.
• Front desk tasks: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordinating care.
• Document data accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
