Job summary

WESTERVILLE is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the facility's resident assessment process, including MDS and care planning, ensuring adherence to guidelines and timely completion of assessments.

You will supervise PDPM meetings, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and provide training to new MDS coordinators. Strong leadership and LTC regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain required continuing education/licensing.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility's weekly PDPM meetings for skilled patients.
• Track and monitor PDPM tools usage and performance.
• Provide PDPM and MDS training to new MDS Coordinators.
• Assess health status and level of care for new admissions and ensure timely MDS submissions.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary participation in completing the MDS and maintain proper regulatory documentation.
• Manage level of care changes and communicate with all departments as needed.
