Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes in Baltimore, MD on a PRN basis. This role requires catheter access, IV care, medication administration, and accurate vitals assessment, delivering compassionate, personalized care to patients.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax
• Ability to communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
• Licensed driver with valid auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines) and vitals/assessments
• Medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds) and blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care.

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnelExpect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
