Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes in the Baltimore, MD area. This PRN role offers flexible visits and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include catheter access and care, administering medications, vital signs, and patient education. Applicants must have an RN license and at least 1 year of infusion experience, with reliable transportation and valid car insurance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax
• Prompt communication with scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), vitals and assessments
• Administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other meds)
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly

Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
